What were they thinking? Veronica & Irene Veteran travellers Veronica and Irene had long observed the popularity of Thai Foot Massage while travelling in Asia. The sisters decided to bring the concept to Australia, where they were sure there would be an appreciative market. They were keen to replicate the therapy in an authentic way, as experienced in massage businesses in Thailand. After training at the Wat Pho Temple Medical School in Bangkok, they launched the Sole Sisters business in Melbourne mid 2004. True to their vision, Sole Sisters has become the most well-known Thai Massage business in Melbourne, and their location in the city’s most iconic tourist destination - Acland Street St Kilda - is a drawcard for both locals and visitors to Melbourne. We get lots of requests for Sole Sisters to open in our visitors' home towns...
